Pakistani musical sensation amongst other talent, head to the capital for an entertainment extravaganza
Ladies, hold your hearts – Atif Aslam is returning to London’s O2 arena to serenade us and melt our hearts once more on 30th August 2015. Back by popular demand, the cool crooner will be performing what is set to be an epic show entitled Bollywood Showdown, accompanied by Strictly Come Dancing stars Bolly Flex who will complete the show with their mesmerising moves. Brought to you by the same organisers who made the last sell-out performance a success, B-town enthusiasts can expect a whopping 4 hours of non-stop talent-brimming entertainment, with surprise guests yet to be added to the impressive line-up so far.
Ahead of the show, Atif Aslam expressed his excitement: ‘It’s a great honour to return to The O2, this is going to be the third time I will play there, I missed the UK audiences and feel really excited about the show, looking forward to rock the night’. Anyone who has witnessed the musical maestro on stage can testify that his power-packed performance is electrifying and hearing his raw and distinct voice singing live will simply blow you away. Along with the classic rock tunes that brought him fame like the unparalleled hit Aadat, the talented singer will also treat audiences to his renowned romantic Bollywood hits like Be Intehaan and Tere Bin.
The main man behind the magnanimous shows which have now become an annually anticipated event, Artistic Director Naz Choudhury commented: ‘This is our fourth year back in the amazing arena, Bolly Flex have some amazing acts this year and will set the stage alive with breath-taking dance acts, it’s a great pleasure to have Atif Aslam back with us, he was sensational every time, really excited to see him perform all his new blockbusters. There will be many more artists added to the roster of Showdown, one of which is a multi-award winning singer from India, I cannot reveal too much at the moment but expect many more announcements, so book early for the best seats in the house, this is your ticket to Bollywood!’
Anyone who went to Atif’s previous concert at The O2 will remember his alternative headgear (a furry hat with a tail!) which only he could look so chic in. We wonder how he will make a statement this year…
