Total Siyapaa becomes the first Indian movie to be shot entirely in the capital

Bollywood has long enjoyed a love affair with London, with over 30 films recently being shot in the world-famous capital city. Popular movies include Cocktail, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Desi Boyz, Kabhi Khushi Khabhi Gham and Namaste London all which feature iconic landmarks, but Total Siyapaa has become the first to be shot entirely there.

An urban rom-com stars the gorgeous Ali Zafa and real life couple Anupam Kher and Kiron Kher, on-screen together for the first time. Look out for cultural hotspots like Wimbledon, Albert Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Earl’s Court and Tower Hill.

Directed by E Niwas (My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves), the script is penned by the critically-acclaimed Neeraj Pandey, who is famed for his award-winning dramas A Wednesday and Special Chabbis. Describing the film, he said: 'It's a wacky, warp-speed tale is an urban-ist rom-com film. It is the story of Pakistani-Punjabi boy Aman (Ali Zafar) and Indian-Punjabi girl Asha (Yami Gautam). When Aman travels to London to meet his girlfriend’s family, all chaos (Total Siyapaa) breaks out, with hilarious results. The film tries to capture, through humour, the differences between India and Pakistan and hopes to foster a deeper understanding and togetherness between the two countries.'

Total Siyapaa is released on Friday 7th March 2014 through Reliance Entertainment worldwide.
