Rainbow Raving

Party like you’re on the set of a Bollywood movie at this summer’s Holi Festival

Everyone seems to be talking about festival season, but who actually wants to spend four days in a field in fear that torrential rain may wash your tent away?

We’ve discovered something far more up our street – a Holi extravaganza, bringing together the best elements of the traditional Indian festival with some of the world’s best DJs.

The master plan of three German friends (even we didn’t know Holi was popular in that part of the world), Holi is a music festival where thousands of revellers spend 10 hours dancing whilst getting showered on with rainbow coloured Holi powders, but you don’t have to live in Germany to attend…this August they're bringing the party to London.

Last year 25,000 peoples came together in four cities (Berlin, Dresden, Hanover and Munich) to party hard in a cloud of colours. The shows sold out in just two hours, marking festival history so be quick. And just like they do in the movies, guests are told to wear white to get the full affect of the colour bombs which are launched on the hour – prepare to get coated in colour!

The Holi Festival Of Colours takes place at Battersea Power Station, London from 12pm-10pm.
