ABS Birmingham 2014: Hoor By Qasim

Ornamental masterpieces befitting of an empress

Posted: 09.12.14

Decadent designs befell the catwalk courtesy of Hoor By Qasim. Open, long jacket tops, heavily ornate with mostly opulent gold, beautifully adorned the elegantly plain lenghas, finished with thick borders. Royally draped were the billowing net dupattas, again subtle with intricate, finer matching detail along the border, ensuring the embellished, full-sleeved tops shone and were not overshadowed with excessive refineries. Apt for this season, mostly rich velvets were used in a vibrant spectrum of colours, including traditional vermillion reds, sophisticated golds and ivories, along with unconventional blue hues. Alternative patterns of embroidery were featured, some heavier than others, to cater to every bridal taste.
