ABS Birmingham 2014: Sache

Distinguished decorum on innovative lengha styles in spectrum of colours

Posted: 15.12.14

As Sache by Asif Malik's dainty designs sashayed down the catwalk, they were the epitome of femininity and glamour. An extravangza of exuberant contrasting shades were witnessed, including royal blue with bright orange, pastel pink with blue, vermillion red with navy, fuchsia with black and new favourite combo of black and gold. An inspiring array of lengha styles were featured, from the contemporary but popular fishtail cut, to flowing bouffants characteristic of a princess. Sumptuous fabrics like raw silk were enhanced with a range of embroidery work, including traditional patterns of intricate vertical panelling, authentic zardozi embellishment, delicate embossment, as well as a full armour of sparkling adornment. Each creation had its own individual identity, but all oozed grandeur and sophistication.
