A celebration of young Asian talent in the fashion industry
Fashion college lecturer Aneesa Kiani brings together industry greats once again in her commendable efforts towards recognising the work of budding South Asian designers from the local area, by showcasing their talent at the annual Luton Fashion Week. This unique celebration of fashion and young talent will feature a catwalk displaying creations designed by Muslim girls taught by Aneesa herself, as a reflection of their culture and identity. The event's proceeds will contribute entirely towards Imran Khan's Cancer Appeal to raise money for a hospital being built in Peshawar, Pakistan. As well as being a great cause, high profile names from the beauty and fashion industry will be participating in the event, including our very own Anisha Vasani, Editor of Asiana Wedding Magazine who will be a guest speaker on the day, along with hair stylist Aamir Naveed, make-up artist Dil Matharu and some special guests such as top models, designers and stylists. The show will also be supported and promoted by big names in Asian media. It will take place at Chiltern Hotel Banqueting Suite Luton on 10th June 2015 between 5pm-9:30pm.
