Whilst on our extremely significant mission to find innovative fashionable style icons, we stumbled upon 21 year old fashion promotion student Zahra Suleman, who is vintage-chic personified. Her casual yet funky look, makes her look effortlessly fabulous at all times! With her wild copper-gold tresses, her geek-chic large frames complementing her pretty face, Zahra sure has nailed her fashion sense to symbolise her individuality and personality. From naughty tattoos to her confessions of shopaholicism, ‘cutesy’ (she says this a lot!) Zahra quite literally reveals all…

How do you create your own unique style?
Just go with your gut and pick up things you like, it will eventually become instinct. My style is always changing and evolving, that’s the fun thing about it. For me personally, I like to add a bit of a quirky twist to my look. I prefer patterns to colours; I’m a big lover of anything paisley!

What is your go to outfit for staying warm and looking chic?
I don’t think I’ve quite nailed the warm AND chic look but a good lipstick and some nice jewellery can make any outfit better!

What made you start blogging?
We actually had a project to start a blog at uni. I ended up really enjoying it so just kept it up after it was marked.

Do you have any tips for new bloggers?
I’m a new girl to the scene myself! It’s a bit hard for me to give advice, especially since I’m still learning so much. All I can really say is to be yourself and write about things you’d enjoy reading.

Who inspires your wardrobe?
Everything and everyone! Blogs, films, street style. Being in London is great for seeing stylish people, you can pretty much just look outside and you’ll see so many. I’ve got to say I’m not really too keen on celebrities, but even I can appreciate a certain Miss Chung as much as the next girl.

Where are your favourite places to shop?
I’m a big online shopper! I love the fact that so many brands are available there now. Depending on what mood I’m in depends on what site I go to, it can range from Urban Outfitters or Beyond Retro to Asos or Miss Selfridge. I quite like the little boutique shops you get as well like Dahlia or the The Whitepepper. Other than that, you can’t beat a good rummage around in a charity shop, I’ve found so many good bargains, it’s amazing what you can spot when you look hard enough.

What is your must have item?
My liquid eyeliner, I hate leaving the house without a cat-eye flick!

If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
You know in Harry Potter were Hermione gets that Time Turner thing. I’d love that! Speed up a long bus journey or redo a fun party!

Do you have any bad habits?
Shopping… The January sales completely wiped me out! R.I.P. Bank balance.
My mum’s always moaning at me about buying too many things. I had to buy a new clothes rail for my room because they wouldn’t all fit in my wardrobe anymore… I genuinely think I have a problem!

Do you have a favourite musician?
I’m a big, big, big fan of Bombay Bicycle Club! I’ve seen them live five times and they never get old. I’m seeing them again in July at Citadel Festival and I genuinely can’t wait! Me and a few of my friends have little bicycle tattoos, which just goes to show how intense the obsession is!

Do you have any other tattoos?
I have a few! I’ve been thinking of putting together a post on them but they’re in quite provocative places so that may not be the best idea!

What is the best piece of advice you can give someone?
Do more of what makes you happy.
