Another Bollywood hunk proves you don’t need meat to look hot!
We couldn't take our eyes off Vidyut Jammwal in his 2011 debut film Force. Even though he was up against John Abraham - who we reckon is the sexiest vegetarian in the world – he held his ground and stole the screen in every shot. And now, we can't wait to see the Bollywood star as the lead in the upcoming film Commando, we've heard it showcases action like never before. But until then, we have another treat in store, evidence that following a healthy vegetarian diet can help you feel and look super fit! Flexing the muscles of his bare and chiselled upper body and wearing low-slung jeans next to the caption ‘Powered by Veggies! Go Vegetarian’, Vidyut appears in a brand-new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India.
In an accompanying interview, Vidyut admitted he’s been a vegetarian for 15 years and it’s changed his life. He said: ‘I believe that everybody should be vegetarian because it has a lot of benefits’. Vidyut, who is living proof of just how muscular and fit a vegetarian can be added: ‘Being a vegetarian makes you agile, keeps you on your toes and doesn't make you feel lazy. I personally believe that being a vegetarian is the way because I have felt the changes – I have seen myself evolve as a human being, mentally as well as physically.’
Vidyut joins a growing list of actors, athletes and other celebrities – including Lara Dutta, Shahid Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Pankaj Advani, Anil Kumble, Amrita Rao, R Madhavan, Murali Kartik, Rahul Sharma and Monica Dogra who have also starred in pro-vegetarian ads for PETA India.
