Non-Invasive Face Lift
I want a lifting facial before my wedding day. Do you have any recommendations?
EmFace (www.bodybybtl.com) isn’t your typical facial with creams and massages, but if you’re after a real lift with lasting results, it’s definitely worth a try. During the 30-minute session, sticky pads are placed on the forehead and cheeks to deliver high-intensity facial electrical stimulation (HIFES) and radiofrequency (RF) technology. This boosts collagen and elastin production helping to lift and tone the facial muscles. After trying a course with Miss Sherina Balaratnam at S-Thetics Clinic (www.sthetics.co.uk), I was impressed with the results. Sherina recommends this for brides-to-be over 30, as it offers a natural lift with zero downtime. She suggests a course of four sessions, spaced a week apart, starting three to six months before the wedding.
For an immediate glow, consider the Acuskinlift Method by John Tsagaris (www.johntsagaris.co.uk), which involves around 150 needles being placed into the skin. I wouldn’t let just anyone put that many needles into my face, but John is an experienced Chinese medicine practitioner, so I knew I was in safe hands. John places ultra-fine needles into the skin (which is painless, by the way) and gently twists them to create microtraumas. This triggers the body’s repair mechanism, producing fresh collagen and a skin-tightening response. The facial also incorporates mesotherapy and LED therapy. The result is plumper, fresher-looking skin that left me glowing for at least a week afterwards.
Perfect your Posture
I spend long hours at my desk and it’s affecting my posture. Any tips to avoid looking slumped in my wedding photos?
If you spend a lot of time at your desk, I highly recommend a visit to an osteopath who can assess your posture, examine how your body aligns and identify any imbalances. This is crucial for reducing the risk of pain and injury in the long term. Osteopath Nadia Alibhai is my go-to. She is a master at manipulating muscles and joints to improve mobility, alleviate tension, correct misalignments and promote better posture. If you don’t have time to see an osteopath, Nadia says: “No bride wants to have slumped shoulders, a forward-leaning head, or tech neck and we can prevent and repair this with elongation to achieve an elegant, youthful look. For elongation, I recommend a mix of stretching and strengthening exercises. At home, try shoulder circles to help correct rounded shoulders and promote an upright posture. Desk chest stretches using a resistance band are great for those who spend a lot of time at their desk.”
You can find all of these and more stretches on Nadia’s Instagram, @nadiatheosteopath.
“Also, be mindful of how you’re sitting – make sure you’re sitting on your sitting bones, preferably on a harder chair, which helps you maintain better control over your posture,” adds Nadia.

I’ve never coloured my hair before, but I’d like to add some subtle tones for my wedding day. Can you recommend a salon that will maintain my hair’s health and keep it low maintenance?
Limoz Logli is a genius when it comes to creating natural, low-maintenance hair colour. His signature colour service includes a bespoke blend of highlights, lowlights, root blending, shine-boosting gloss and tonal corrections if needed. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach; Limoz tailors each look using fine highlights and hand-painting techniques, to enhance your natural base rather than completely altering it.
What I love about Limoz’s technique is the natural, sun-kissed effect he creates – the highlights seamlessly blend with the natural hair, so you get some brightness without the harsh re-growth lines, which means less frequent touch-up appointments
The entire process takes around four hours, but time flies in his sleek salon, which features a stunning pink Brazilian marble bar, workstations inspired by traditional barber shops and a striking 1970s Murano glass chandelier. It’s like stepping into an interiors showroom.

The skin under my eyes is prone to dryness and makeup always creases in this area. Eye creams are usually too heavy for me. What can I use?
You could try a mask like the GUVU 5 A.M. Club Under Eye Mask (£14 for 4,
www.guvubeauty.com), which is infused with a Korean formula containing vegan collagen and ricinoleic acid to lock in moisture, along with niacinamide to even out skin tone. The three-layer foil technology ensures that moisture stays sealed in without feeling greasy.
