One of the largest bridal showrooms in London, Monga’s never fails to impress. This time, the focus was on occasion and partywear, featuring versatile dresses, gowns and lenghas, some adorned with delicate floral threadwork and some with heavily embellished patterns. The more ornate pieces were glistening with crystals and beadwork, befitting of a fairytale princess, as were the graceful sheer fabrics. The theme was one of pastel pinks, peaches and golds, reminiscent of idyllic spring blossoms. The grooms wear was just as elegant, with long jacket sherwanis, covering longer flowing kameezes, finished with stately turbans and draping shawls, evocative of the romantic Sufi styles of bygone eras.
