Asiana sat down with her to discover where she finds inspiration, the trends shaping modern weddings, and her expert advice for couples looking to create a truly unforgettable day.

What drew you to working in the wedding industry?
Luxury Decor Events has evolved naturally over the years. I first started in the events industry creating celebration cakes, before moving into balloon styling for birthdays and special occasions. As my experience grew, I realised what I enjoyed most wasn’t just creating one feature it was transforming entire spaces. That passion led me into luxury event décor where I can focus on creating a more immersive experience.

Tell us about the services you provide
We specialise in designing elegant, bespoke weddings that reflect each couple’s personality and culture. Every event is different and I love bringing a couple’s vision to life from the first consultation to the final setup. Luxury Events Decor offers complete wedding styling and décor services. This includes ceremony and reception décor, floral installations, luxury backdrops, aisle styling, stage designs, centrepieces, table styling, entrance décor, ceiling installations, lighting and bespoke design concepts.

What’s the difference between wedding décor and a wedding theme?
A wedding theme is the overall concept or style of your wedding, whether that’s modern luxury, romantic, traditional or contemporary. Wedding décor is how that vision comes to life through flowers, fabrics, lighting, furniture, table styling and decorative details. The décor should always support the theme, creating one beautiful and cohesive experience rather than feeling like separate elements. But don’t worry about making it work, that’s where I come in with my team to do this for you.

How do you ensure that every wedding you design has the Wow Factor?
I thrive on curating concepts that get guests talking but the more time and notice the team get the more we can dedicate to your day so please get in touch as early as you can. Ideally, couples should start discussing décor around 9–12 months before their wedding, especially if they’re getting married during peak wedding season.

What are the key spaces in a wedding that you typically decorate?
The ceremony space is always a priority, whether that’s a mandap, stage or aisle. I especially love these elements because it’s where we work with cultural references.

For Hindu weddings, you’ll often see vibrant colours, floral mandaps and elaborate ceremonial décor. Sikh weddings tend to combine elegance with traditional elements around the Anand Karaj ceremony. Muslim weddings often feature luxurious stages, floral arrangements and beautifully styled Nikah settings.

The key is respecting each tradition while also creating something personal to the couple. Modern Asian weddings often blend cultural heritage with contemporary luxury, which makes every celebration unique.

What types of requests are most common?
We’re seeing a growing demand for timeless luxury. Soft neutral palettes, ivory florals, candlelight, statement floral installations, crystal chandeliers and elegant draping continue to be incredibly popular.

One of my favourite recent weddings was transforming a blank venue into a luxury floral experience with cascading flowers, a bespoke stage design and elegant lighting that completely changed the atmosphere. Watching the couple see the finished room for the first time was unforgettable.
