FACILITIES
There’s plenty for the hen party to enjoy here. Inside you will find a 20 metre indoor pool area, complete with marble loungers, a thermal suite with a Finnish sauna, steam room, experience showers, ice fountain, Japanese Ashiyu foot ritual bath, a hot tub and a warming tepidarium bench.
The softly-lit deep relaxation room is ideal for a post treatment nap, while the bright Himalayan salt room overlooking the picturesque courtyard is great for a lie down. The spa welcomes day and hotel guests. There are several packages to pick from. The Spa Escape (£685) includes an overnight stay, breakfast, a three-course dinner plus a 55-minute treatment. The Signature Collection (£260 per person) comprises of a stint in the invigorating Cryotherapy Chamber, a 55-minute treatment followed by the relaxation-inducing AquaVibe therapy, where you lie on a dry floatation bed that delivers sound frequencies to the body. The friendly spa team can also design bespoke packages to suit your needs and those looking to only use the facilities can book a spa pass (£75 per person).
Guests on the spa packages have access to the stunning and highly Instagrammable courtyard hydrotherapy vitality pool, which resembles a Moroccan riad – with floral decor and mosaic tiles. Amid bubbling massage jets, the vitality pool is heated to a comforting 39°C, making it an all-weather space where you can gather with friends and chat for hours. That’s not all. For deeper relaxation, thermal treatments designed by Parisian brand La Sultane de Saba can also be booked in the six-person marble Hammam. If you feel peckish, pop into Greens Café, which serves a range of salads, snacks and juices.
DINING AND SLEEPING
We recommend staying for dinner at the hotel’s fabulous restaurant – Moreish. Book the Chef’s Experience (for up to 16 people) where you’ll be seated adjacent to the buzzy open kitchen. Not only do you get to see head chef Matyas Rigo and his team prepare European and Middle Eastern delights, he’ll present them to you throughout the evening complete with a detailed explanation of the culinary delight – including his indulgent crab linguine in lobster bisque.
Those staying the night are in for a treat. All 200 rooms and suites are spacious and sophisticated, many with views of the manicured grounds, serene lake or nearby forests. Decked out in natural stone, soft textures and a muted colour palette, the rooms make you feel immediately relaxed. Beds are some of the most comfortable you will sleep on, while bathrooms are spacious, with enormous tubs and Le Labo goodies.
