It’s not just the surroundings of this venue that are special. The Events Team at Brocket Hall are dedicated to providing an attentive service, helping you to plan your dream day. Whether you already have grand ideas or are seeking some inspiration, the experienced team will help guide you through your wedding journey.

Brocket Hall’s historic architecture and exquisite interiors don’t require much additional décor, just small and personal touches to enhance the romance such as floral displays and elegant stationary.

Brocket Hall has a wealth of internal spaces that can be used for various parts of your wedding day. A number of the rooms are licenced for civil ceremonies. The Library can seat up to 50 guests, the Boardroom up to 150 guests and Ballroom up to 120.

The Well Lawn can also host a civil ceremony for up to 150 guests, offering couples the option of an outdoor wedding.

Guest numbers can increase to 200 for the evening reception in the Boardroom after the wedding breakfast.

As an exclusive use venue, Brocket Hall offers a number of different hire options to suit every couples needs. Couples have the option of an inclusive wedding package, with in-house catering or dry hire of the full venue for their wedding. For numbers that exceed the internal capacities of the venue, there is also private lawns surrounding Brocket Hall which can house a marquee from an external supplier of your choosing.

Designing your dream day

From the moment your guests step foot on the majestic grounds of the Brocket Hall estate, they’ll be enveloped by its enchantment and romance. You and your guests arrive at the exclusive Brocket Hall entrance before taking a picturesque drive through the grounds of the estate.

Upon arrival at the entrance of the stately home, you and your guests will be greeted by the team of Brocket Hall Butlers who will arrange for your vehicle to be parked and luggage taken up to your bedroom if staying overnight at the property.

Celebrations commence with drinks and canapes served throughout the elegant reception rooms or outside on the private lawns in fair weather.

Your wedding ceremony can take place within one of the many licensed spaces within Brocket Hall or on the Well Lawn, followed by your wedding breakfast in the magnificent Ballroom or in a marquee positioned next to the property.

The Boardroom can be transformed for your evening reception where you and your guests can party until the early hours.

A stately stay

Transform your wedding into a destination celebration by inviting your guests to stay overnight. Brocket Hall boasts 30 luxury en-suite bedrooms, with a further 16 bedrooms located on the Estate in Melbourne Lodge if additional accommodation is required.

Eight of the bedrooms in Brocket Hall are feature suites, individually furnished with exquisite interiors.

The Lady Melbourne Suite is often used by many couples as the bridal suite, and is complete with four-poster bed and walk-in shower, whilst also offering stunning views across the Broadwater Lake.

The Prince Regent Suite is uniquely decorated with hand-painted Chinese wallpaper and comes with a separate lounge and beautiful bathroom.

Away from the main hall is Melbourne Lodge, a converted Georgian coach house. Charming in every way, the décor has a quaint English countryside theme and provides all of the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay.
