Backstage at the Asiana Lifestyle Show – Birmingham’s Most Glamorous Day Out
There’s a special kind of buzz that fills the air at the Asiana Bridal Show in Birmingham – a mix of perfume, hairspray, and pure excitement. Backstage felt like stepping into a dreamworld of silk, sparkle and high-energy creativity. Celebrity hair and makeup artist Lubna Rafiq and her glam squad worked their magic, creating flawless looks that shimmered under the lights. Between the brushes, sequins and selfies, laughter bounced off the walls as models prepped to take the runway.
The chic setting – brought to life by The Printer Room and The Sign Shop – set the scene for a celebration of South Asian bridal style in all its glory. Styling legends Zaf Shabir, Jin Thandi and their teams finessed every outfit to perfection, from regal drapes to statement jewellery. The vibe was electric, and the energy only built as the beats from Birmingham Crew DJs and Av2rent pulsed through the venue, setting a soundtrack that was impossible not to move to.
When H Dhami took to the stage, the crowd erupted – his performance perfectly capturing the show’s vibrant spirit. A stunning semi-classical Bollywood dance followed, marrying tradition with modern flair in the most captivating way.
From backstage banter to catwalk glamour, the Asiana Bridal Show wasn’t just an event – it was a celebration of beauty, culture, and pure joy. Birmingham has never looked so fabulous.
