Harper Weddings
Go with your heart to choose the wedding venue of your dreams
The perfect wedding venue isn’t just about the practicalities. Location and capacity are key considerations, but equally as important is how a venue makes you feel. Does it give you butterflies in your tummy when you gaze up at its grand façade? Does your heart beat with excitement as you step through the doors and explore each corner? That’s love working its magic and when you fall head over heels in love with a wedding venue, that’s when you know it’s where you should say ‘I Do.’
These are the sentiments of Harper Weddings who encourage you to ‘go with your heart’ when choosing your venue. With over 25 years experience in the industry, they’re experts in ensuring couples mark the most romantic day of their lives in the right setting.
The team manages three exquisite wedding houses in the South East. Each one has a unique character but shares the same services; exclusive hire, multi-functional spaces, 24/7 online wedding planner support and accommodation. They’re also well versed in the rituals of South Asian weddings so you won’t need to compromise on your vision.
‘Our house is your house’ is the motto at Harper Weddings and you’re encouraged to settle in and make yourself feel at home. There are two types of hire available for all venues – ‘Harper Weddings’ where their in-house planners organise the food, drinks and staff as part of your package, or you can opt for dry hire and bring in your own service providers giving complete flexibility.

Botleys Mansion, Surrey
A fairytale mansion set within 56 acres of picturesque parkland, Botleys Mansion is a quintessential grand, English wedding venue that ticks all the boxes when it comes to luxury.
Attention to detail is everywhere. Outside, the focal point is a striking double staircase, perfect for portrait shots with a horse and carriage or vintage wedding car in the foreground.
The grounds are ideal for an alfresco summer soiree where a mandap can be erected in the gardens. Or, for a cosy winter celebration, head inside and soak up the exquisite interiors. Here, you’ll be greeted by a marbled reception fitted with crystal chandeliers.
The Atrium with its airy space and floor-to-ceiling windows is a popular spot for ceremonies, or for a more intimate setting, tie the knot in The Green Room, which has a classical theme with large sash windows.
The icing on the cake is the lavish Botleys Suite. The elegant four-poster bed is where couples can spend their first night while the suite is the perfect chamber for brides to get ready in, providing a quiet sanctuary throughout the day. There’s also a free-standing bathtub and breathtaking parkland views. The house has an additional 11 bedrooms so your friends and family can stay over too, allowing you to continue the celebrations in the morning over a leisurely breakfast in The Dining Room.

Outside there’s a walled garden which transforms into a romantic ceremony space with flower arches and chairs laid out on either side of a beautiful aisle. Depending on the season the trees are awash with colours – either pretty pink cherry blossoms or magical purple wisteria.
For indoor ceremonies, Abbot’s Hall has an inviting rustic aesthetic with ceiling beams and a real fireplace. In the evenings it’s great for a bar or chill-out space. The Refectory has a traditional barn feel and is perfect for an evening meal. Then, after the dinner and dancing, bring the celebrations to a grand finale with a private firework display.
