Who doesn’t love a good ol’ chaat? Sweet, salty and crunchy, there’s a bit of everything to get your tastebuds tingling with this mouth-watering aloo tikki chaat made by @deliciouslydiya. With her super easy recipe you can make your own fluffy, golden tikki’s at home and customise your aloo tikki chaat with the toppings of your choice.

Ingredients:

Tikki:
4-5 King Edward/Maris Piper potatoes (good for mash potatoes)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tbsp cornflour (plus more if required for shaping tikkis)

Stuffing:
1/2 cup Sev
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tbsp coriander, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp amchur powder (dried mango powder)
1/2 tsp garam masala

Red Chutney:
1/2 cup passata
5-6 cherry tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garlic, chopped

Green Chutney:
Handful of fresh coriander
2-3 green chillies
1/2 lime or lemon
1 tsp salt

Amli Chutney:
Pulped Tamarind Paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup of water

Garnish:
Greek Yoghurt
Red Chutney
Green Chutney
Amli Chutney
Onion, chopped
Sev
Roasted peanuts
Pomegranate kernels
Coriander
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ground cumin (jeera)
