With five restaurants to choose from, each one offers a blend of spicy and exquisite tastes from all over the world. You’ll hear it referred to as “Metisaz”: a delicious mix of Creole, Indian, Asian and European cuisines which are true to the cultural diversity of the island. But for lovers of food, choosing between the five need not be a problem, thanks to the Dine Around experience, which allows you to taste a different cuisine each day whilst taking in the different atmospheres.
The main restaurant “Karay” (the Creole word for a traditional cooling pot, an essential utensil in every Mauritian kitchen) has a beautiful view over the lagoon. All week long at breakfast and dinner, you can enjoy the theme buffets and the Mauritian specialities. You may be sometimes be surprised, but no doubt you’ll always be charmed by the numerous culinary influences. For a little more theatre, restaurant Siaw offers live Sino-Mauritian cooking amidst modern zen decoration and lighted bamboos, whereas restaurant Lor Disab is the perfect spot to enjoy the peace of the tropical night watch the moon rising over the silvery lagoon… and count the shooting stars!
