What’s the first thing you see on an Into-Chinese restaurant menu? It has to be the famous chilli paneer! This scrumptious dish satisfies plenty of guilty pleasures with a combination of sweet, spicy, sour and salty all in one mouthful! Diya shows us her version of the renowned Chilli paneer dish that you can make at home.
Ingredients:
250g paneer, cubed
1 cup onions, diced
1 cup rainbow peppers, diced
1/2 cup spring onions, sliced
1/2 cup corn flour
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp ginger, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
2 chillies, sliced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 cup of water
2 tbsp slurry (1tbsp corn flour mixed with 1tbsp water)
3-4 dried red chillies
2 tbsp vegetable oil (to shallow fry the paneer)
1 tbsp sesame seeds
coriander leaves (for garnish)
